It is a small, quiet village with an historic public house serving good food, fine views of the estuary and the famous 13th Century church known as the Cathedral of the Marshes. There is also a village shop and post office. Lavender Cottage is a three-storey townhouse situated within a converted Georgian Grade II listed building in the historic Blythview development. The property is in the heart of the countryside and is attractively furnished with fantastic views of the Blyth Valley and, in addition, has the benefit of a heated indoor swimming pool, games room and gym - this is a quality holiday cottage.
