A perfect couples retreat, set in secluded gardens yet just a short stroll from the beach path and village centre.
Imagine relaxing in your own hot tub with a complimentary bottle of bucks fizz, surrounded by secluded gardens, think of a cosy log cabin just perfect for a romantic hideaway yet only a short stroll from Croyde village centre, when staying at Weez House you can have all of this. Nestling in the grounds of the owners own beautiful 16th century thatched Devon Longhouse, the elevated position ensures stunning countryside views and on a clear day Croyde Bay can be glimpsed from the south facing balcony. This is a lovely spot to enjoy meals al fresco or evening drinks under the stars. A gravel path and steps lead up to the front entrance and into the open plan living room with comfy leather sofa and flat screen wall mounted TV. The modern kitchen area is well equipped, featuring a breakfast bar, and there is one double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Weez House is an ideal choice for surfers, and keen walkers will enjoy exploring the footpath leading almost from the doorstep to the stunning beach at Putsborough around 20 minutes away. To holiday with friends we also have a cottage called Thatcher’s Leggett in the same location. Croyde offers everything you could need in a seaside village, a renowned surfing beach, character cottages and a great selection of pubs and restaurants. Weez House is something a little different, perfect for couples and a welcoming retreat at the end of a fun filled day. Please note that infants are not accepted.
Accommodation: Steps up to Ground floor: Open plan living room /kitchen with TV with Freeview and DVD. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Bedroom with Double and ensuite shower room with WC and basin.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Bath robes. Electric heating. Hot Tub inclusive for weekly bookings 2nd June - 25th August. At other times or for short breaks by prior arrangement at an additional charge, payable on arrival, weekly out of season £100 and 3/4 night short breaks £70, 5 night short break £90 please notify at time of booking. (Please note that hot tub takes 24 to 48 hrs to reach optimum temperature) Garden furniture. BBQ. No smoking. Regret no pets. 1 allocated parking space. Short breaks available. 3pm Arrival. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
